Santorini Wedding Documents
Obtaining the correct legal documentation for your Santorini wedding is one of the most important steps in your wedding planning process. Here is the information about the necessary certificates for your Civil or Church wedding in Greece.
Getting Married in Santorini
You should start collecting your paperwork about 3 months prior to your wedding.
Once your documentation is ready, you will send it to us for review. We have to review all documents at least 4 weeks prior to your wedding in Santorini.
We also offer a translation service. You can send us the paperwork by fax or email if you find it difficult to translate at home.
After that, you just need to bring the originals with you. Keep in mind that all documents must stay in the Town Hall here on the island or elsewhere in Greece.
Download the legal.pdf that applies to you. If your country is not listed or you can’t find what you need, please contact us for the necessary documentation.
Important Notes
– Instead of the Certificate of No Impediment to Marry, you can obtain a Single Status Letter issued by your Embassy in Greece. Your Embassy can send this document to the Registrar’s office in Santorini.
– If you cannot stay one day after the wedding in Santorini in order to sign your Marriage License, you can authorise us to do it for you.
